Golden State (2-4) @ Indiana (2-3) 7pm ET – The Pacers host the Warriors tonight at Conseco fieldhouse…A.J. Price played a career high 11 minutes in last Friday’s win over Washington. Price scored 6 points in that one, on 2-4 from behind the arc…Indiana has won two in a row…
Utah (3-4) @ Boston (7-1) 7:30pm ET – The Celts host the Jazz this evening at the Garden…Ray Allen is trying to find some consistency from downtown…shooting just .343 which is down from his 08-09 mark of .409, and down from his career mark of .398…Ray is averaging 14.8 points per game…Boston is up to their old tricks…playing excellent defense..they are holding opponents to just 84.4 ppg.
Charlotte (3-4) @ Detroit (3-4) 7:30pm ET – Richard Hamilton is expected to miss his seventh game in a row this evening, as the Pistons host the Bobcats. Ben Gordon is off to a great start, which is helping to alleviate some of the missing offense that Hamilton provides…Gordon is averaging a career high 24 ppg. Charlie Villanueva is also playing well in his new home…averaging 14.1 ppg. The Pistons are also getting it done on the defensive end (allowing 91.7 ppg)…and that spells trouble for Charlotte, who has averaged only 76 ppg in their 3 road losses…the Bobcats are still searching for their first road win.
Philadelphia (3-4) @ New Jersey (0-7) 7:30pm ET – The winless Nets host the 76ers tonight at the IZOD Center…Josh Boone has seen his playing time increase recently and has played respectably, averaging 9 points and 9 boards over the last 3 games…Josh made his first start of the season Saturday vs the Celtics, posting 8 points, and 12 boards in 37 minutes…
Memphis (1-7) @ Houston (4-3) 8:30pm ET – Rudy Gay leads the Grizzlies down to Houston tonight, and will be doing so shorthanded…Allen Iverson has left the team, and Hasheem Thabeet suffered a broken jaw last night vs Portland…no word yet on when Thabeet may return…Marcus Williams should see plenty of action tonight…Williams is averaging 4.4 ppg, and 2 assists, in 12.3 minutes…Gay leads the team in scoring (21 ppg) and steals (1.7). The Grizzlies have lost 6 in a row.
Oklahoma City (3-4) @ Los Angeles Clippers (3-5) 10:30pm ET – The Thunder started this season with a bang, going 2-0, posting wins over Sacramento and Detroit…the November happened…they’ve lost 4 of 5, and will try to right the ship this evening in LA. 36 year old Kevin Ollie is averaging 15.6 minutes, 2.8 points, and 1.2 assists…
New Orleans (3-5) @ Phoenix (7-1) 10:30pm ET- ESPN – The Suns are rolling, winners of 3 straight…The Hornets are coming off a much needed victory Monday night over the Clippers…unfortunately, Chris Paul sprained his ankle in that one, and he may be hampered in this match-up…Emeka Okafor looks to rebound from his 2 point, 6 rebound performance vs the Clippers…Okafor is still averaging a double-double…at 10.9 ppg, and 10.1 rpg…Hilton Armstrong had his best game of the year Monday (12 points, 6 boards)….this is a difficult match-up for the Hornets..especially if Paul is not at 100%…
