Tough Night for Villanueva, who was 1-6 for 2 points

How about that Thunder?  They improve to 6-5 following a very impressive road victory over the Heat, 100-67.   Kevin Durant is good at basketball, 32 points in this one.  Former Husky Kevin Ollie didn’t score in 15 minutes, but the crafty vet did post three steals and an assist, and once again did not turn it over…

The Nets fell to 0-11, losing 83-91 to the Pacers (5-3).  Josh Boone was held scoreless for the third straight game…Did you know Josh’s first name is Oscar?  Joshua is his middle name…I digress…No love for A.J. Price in this one…he did not get off the bench…

Emeka Okafor and the Chris Paul-less Hornets got a much needed victory last night vs the Clippers, 110-102.  With the win, New Orleans  improved to 4-8, now 1-2 under general manager and new coach, Jeff Bower.  Okafor scored 7 points in 38 minutes…his scoring has really been trending downward lately…he did, however, post 14 rebounds and 2 blocks…Hilton Armstrong was not available due to a shoulder injury.

The Pistons came up short in LA vs the Lakers, 93-106.  Kobe had 40 for the Lakers, and was running his mouth, as usual…all class that Kobe.   Charlie Villanueva had an off night…he couldn’t get it going.  2 points on 1-6 shooting…He has been playing great though, look for a nice rebound from Charlie tonight in Portland.  Ben Gordon scored 18 points on 7-15 shooting, but it wasn’t enough…the Pistons fell to 5-6.
