With yesterday’s win over Syracuse, and Stanford taking care of business vs Notre Dame last night, the Huskies are now guaranteed a Big East tie-in bowl. It was rumored that had Notre Dame won, the Gator Bowl would have selected them over a Big East team. If the Huskies were to have lost next week vs USF, it would have meant the 6-6 Huskies would have to look elsewhere for a bowl. But all is right with the world this morning, thank you Stanford.
Possible destinations for the Huskies include the St. Petersburg Bowl on December 19th, the Pappajohns.com Bowl in Birmingham, on January 2nd, or the International Bowl in Toronto, also on January 2nd.
