Rudy Gay misses game, Villanueva undergoes surgery

Rudy Gay did not play in Monday night’s 120-93 loss to the Utah Jazz.  A Memphis radio station reported that Gay had a death in the family, and this was confirmed by a tweet.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Rudy…

Charlie Villanueva broke his nose in Sunday night’s 94-88 victory, and underwent successful surgery today.  Villanueva is listed as questionable for Wednesday night’s game in Chicago.  The Pistons are already without Ben Gordon (sprained ankle) and  Richard Hamilton (Damaged tendons, ankle).
