UConn NBA Friday Night Wrap

The Nets fell to 2-21, following their 107-91 loss to the Pacers.  Josh Boone scored 4 points on 2-8 shooting, but did grab 12 boards.  A.J. Price didn’t see any action in this one.   New Jersey will play in Atlanta on Sunday…the poor Nets.

The Hornets dropped a rare home game to the Knicks, 113-96.   Emeka Okafor scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.  Hilton Armstrong didn’t get on the floor…he has been struggling lately.  This was not a very good effort by the Hornets, who only scored 34 second half points.  They’ll be in Dallas to face of with the Mavs Monday night…the Hornets are 10-12.

There was too much Kevin Durant last night in Memphis…the Grizzlies lost 102-94, dropping to 9-13.  Durant led all scorers with 32 points.  Rudy Gay scored 16 points, but had a rough night shooting.  4 of 16 from the field, and 7 of 12 from the stripe…not one of Rudy’s best nights.  Hasheem Thabeet scored a bucket and blocked two shots in just 6 minutes…no Marcus Williams in this one.  The Grizz is back at it Sunday in Miami vs D Wade and the Heat.
