in UCONN NBA

The Nets dropped another in Cleveland, 99-89.  The Nets hung in there, there certainly was no lack of effort in this one.  Josh Boone scored 7 points on 3 of 4 shooting, and grabbed 5 boards.  Brooke Lopez and Devin Harris each scored 22 for the Nets…LeBron James had 23.  The 2-23 Nets will look to snap a 4 game skid tomorrow night in Utah.

The Pistons fell in Houston to the Rockets, 107-96.  Richard Hamilton had a team high 21 points on 10 of 22 shooting…it certainly could have been more, but Rip struggled from deep tonight, going 1 for 6.  Charlie Villanueva kicked in 16 points as well.  Ben Gordon is still out, nursing an ankle.  With the loss, the Pistons dropped to 11-13.  Big game for former Huskies tomorrow night, Detroit will be in New Orleans to take on Emeka Okafor, Hilton Armstong, and the Hornets.
