The Wizards fell in overtime to the Bulls, 121-119. Caron Butler had a big night, scoring 27 points on 10-26 shooting while grabbing 8 rebounds. The loss was Washington’s 4th in row, dropping them to 12-26. They’ll host the Kings Saturday evening…we’ll see if there will be a Hilton Armstrong sighting…

Just a huge night for Richard Hamilton, who scored a game high 32 points in a 110-104 overtime win over the Hornets.  Charlie Villanueva scored 13 points on 5-13 shooting,  and grabbed 7 boards.  Ben Gordon missed his second straight game with a groin.  Emeka Okafor scored 7 points in a losing effort.   The loss dropped the Hornets to 5-15 on the road, and 20-18 overall, they’ll visit A.J. Price and the Pacers tomorrow night.   The Pistons improved to 13-25, they’ll host the Knicks Saturday night.

How about those Pacers?  Three in a row and four of six…they drop the Nets 121-105.  For the second consecutive game, New Jersey allowed more than 70 points…IN THE FIRST HALF.  Is it too late to get Lawrence Frank back?  My word…The Nets are 3-36 and showing no signs of life.  Josh Boone DNPCD.  A.J. Price played 20 minutes for the winners, scoring 8 points and dishing 5 assists.  The Pacers improved to 14-25 and will host the Hornets Saturday.  The Nets, who are on their way to the worst record in league history, will visit the Clippers Monday night.

Rudy  Gay scored a team high 21 points as the Grizzlies routed the Timberwolves, 135-110.   Hasheem Thabeet scored 5 points, grabbed 9 boards and blocked 3 shots in 17 minutes.   Marcus Williams played just 6 minutes in this one.   Memphis has won 7 of 10, improving their record to 20-18.  They’ll host the Spurs tomorrow night.

How many times have Hamilton, Charlie V, and Gordon all actually played in the same game this year?

Injuries are crazy for that UC trio.
