The Pacers fell at home to the Lakers, 118-96. A.J. Price scored 5 points on 2-5 shooting in 13 minutes. The loss dropped Indiana to 16-30, they’ll host the LeBrons Friday night.
The Grizzlies won their third in row, downing the Pistons 99-93. Plenty of Huskies in action in this one…Rudy Gay scored 16 points on 4-13 shooting, and grabbed 8 boards. Richard Hamilton scored 16 points and had 10 assists, while Charlie Villanueva scored 13 points and grabbed 7 boards. Hasheem Thabeet was used sparingly in this one, playing just 5 minutes. Marcus Williams DNPCD, and Ben Gordon is still out with an injury. The loss was Detroit’s third in a row, dropping them to 15-29. Since starting the season 1-8, the Grizzlies are an impressive 24-11. They’ll visit San Antonio Friday night, while Detroit hosts Miami.
The Hornets completed a 3-1 road trip, downing Golden State, 123-110. Emeka Okafor scored 12 points on 5-6 shooting, and grabbed 12 rebounds, but the story was Chris Paul. Paul erupted for 38 points on 14-19 shooting, and had 9 assists. The Hornets seem to have it going now, improving to 25-20, their high water mark for the season…they’ll host Chicago Friday night.
