Graham Stewart – 2011
Linebacker Xavier (Middletown, CT)
6’1″, 200 lbs

The junior linebacker had a huge year for the SCC Division I West champion Xavier Falcons.  Stewart had 110 tackles, 13 of which were for a loss, and five sacks.  He also had three pass deflections and an interception.  In addition to being named First Team ALL-SCC (Southern Connecticut Conference), Stewart was named to the Coaches Class LL All-State team and was a New Haven Register Third Team All-State selection.  He was also named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s “All-Connecticut Team”.

Stewart is receiving interest from several schools, including UConn, Notre Dame, Florida State, Rutgers, Iowa and Temple.  Both Florida State and UConn have reportedly already extended offers.  At 6’1″ 200 lbs, Stewart may play safety at the college level.
