Paul Pierce scored a game high 31 points and grabbed 13 boards as the Celtics defeated the Magic, 96-84.  Ray Allen was second on the team with 20 points on 6-13 from the floor and 3-7 from three.  Rajon Rondo scored 14 points and had six assists.  Nate Robinson, who filled in for Rondo for a good portion of the 2nd quarter, came up big, scoring 13 points on the night.

The Celtics came out strong, outscoring the Magic 30-19 in the first quarter  They continued to pull away for most of the night, as this one was never really in doubt.

Plenty of “Beat L.A.” Chants last night…I’m certainly hoping the Lakers advance , although I’d like to see that series go seven.  As far as the NBA goes, there’s no better show than Boston vs Los Angeles for all the marbles.  David Stern and the NBA brass can taste it now…
