Tyvon Branch clinches victory for the Raiders

Former Husky Tyvon Branch scooped and scored on a Philip Rivers fumble and gave the Raiders an eight point lead with under a minute to play and the Raiders won 35-27.   Oakland snapped a 13-game losing streak against San Diego.  Congrats to Tyvon!

Panthers Sign Robert McClain

The Panthers have wrapped up their third rookie contract of the day, finalizing a deal with seventh-round pick Robert McClain.  The team previously signed seventh-round cornerback R.J. Bills Ink Easley

According to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, the Bills have signed fourth-round pick Marcus Easley to a four-year deal that includes a $520,000 signing bonus.  Like most rookies, Easley’s four base salaries figure to add up to $1.79 million, bringing the minimum value of the rookie contract to roughly $2.31 million.
