Hi Buchammer. Yes, that's my understanding as well. I have only heard that we will target a big. It's been REALLY quiet on the basketball recruiting front.

They should hold onto all scharships until the 2012 crop. We are targeting shooting guard in alabama that kentucky wants for 2011. think his name is Lacey. Scores a lot but I’m not sure he’s qualified for college. Something’s going on, he’s only top 100 recruit unsigned, or on short list. Uconns 2012 will be best recruiting class ever seen since fab five.

I would like to see a big also. We could also use a guard. I hope they sign a big so Roscoe can go to the wing.

we r supposedly targeting the #1 overall center in the 2012 class, and i think he is even the #1 player overall in the class. i'm pretty sure he's interested in uconn, but like you said, the recruiting page is quiet other than somehow kentucky is still dominating the recruiting class.

and also the #13 overall player in the 2012 class, also a center.

He's talking about Andre Drummond, who lives in CT, for 2012. We are in very good shape with him.

UCONN Class of 73. April 30, 2011 at 4:35 am

How many scholarships does UCONN have for 2011-2012? Is Boatright it? Why does UCONN always seem to get the diamonds in the ruff and never the big name stars? Drummond may be the first.

well actually throgh the years, UCONN has had plenty of McDonalds All-Americans, including kemba and Oriakhi off of our most recent team

We got omar calhoun for 2012, deandre for 2011. Coach Calhoun bringing A game with recruiting. Thought we would be top 15 team next year, but if this year taught me anything greed is good. We should be top 5 preseason. Espn is saying besides being shocked he came to Uconn, a big reason he came is the absence of Mccoombs. I will take that trade all day long. I feel like Kentucky with all these recruits. Its great. Hope Calhoun coaches another 15 years,

Wait until you guys see Ryan boatright play..Outstanding passer, and so quick that he will get to the rim at will, imagine Kemba Walker but can finish above the rim he will get everyone involved in the program, only problem he will face in the college level is defense….but trust me you will all fall in love with this kid…his wok ethic and drive is admirable

I saw some pretty strange people when I went to Venice. Muscle Beach gym was very underwhelming to me. Not like when Arnold was there
